When advertising an available product in this section, it would be handy to include either a link to your profile on Silk Road or a link to the item for sale.

What if you wanted to just guage if there was any interest in a product? Say for oz's and up of some mexican brick weed for like $75 in BTC?

Well obviously you couldn't link to an actual product for sale. If you have had previous sales, linking to your profile would be a way of letting people see you're legit.

i would be very interested in some brick weed. i saw someone (maybe you? - can't remember) selling it over on OVDB, but as a general rule, I don't purchase from anyone on that site that isn't highly trusted because of the lack of escrow.

Yeah same one, and generally I wouldn't trust a vendor with a good background that I could cross check through other places that offer that sort of information. There are some good unscreened sellers there, but I would wait until they have many many good transactions in their respective threads, or they had a very low minimum.
